The Shoebox
The Shoebox
The Kensa Shoebox ground source heat pump is a small and compact system that fits inside an airing cupboard or kitchen cabinet. The Shoebox is quiet and discreet with noise levels that equate to a fridge freezer. It uses a non-flammable refrigerant as a safe alternative to combustion fossil fuels and renewables with flammable refrigerant. The Shoebox can comfortably provide all heating and hot water demands, it produces hot water temperatures up to 65°C. The Shoebox is also capable of providing cooling, and this is a particularly useful addition for high-rise buildings in district heating schemes. The installation process for the Shoebox is made easy with Kensa’s network of approved installers or you can utilise Kensa’s MCS Umbrella Scheme with your chosen installer. The Shoebox series is Connect & Notify-approved on the Energy Network Association’s (ENA) heat pump database, which saves time and money for consumers. Large-scale installations can get support from our delivery partner, Kensa Contracting. Kensa will also be able to advise on the best funding options for your project. The Shoebox has low running costs, a lack of annual servicing requirements, and minimal maintenance over its 20-year design life. On top of a 5-year guarantee, end-users will benefit from lifetime technical support. From social housing tower blocks, to new-build developments, to energy-efficient holiday lodges/barges, the versatile Shoebox can provide heating, hot water and cooling to all kinds of projects.
The Evo
The Evo
The Kensa Evo is an A+++ energy-efficient Ground Source Heat Pump. The Evo series is Connect & Notify-approved on the Energy Network Association’s (ENA) heat pump database, saving time and quickening the RHI process versus most non-approved ground source heat pumps. Creating up to four times the energy it consumes, its high efficiency makes heating and hot water all-the-more affordable. The Evo system produces hot water up to 60°C. You can also benefit from passive cooling features in the warmer months. The Evo’s noise levels range from 49.2 to 56.2 decibels (dB) – comparable in sound to the average dishwasher. Throughout its 20-year design life, the Evo requires no servicing, needs little maintenance, and produces next-to-no emissions. On top of its 5-year guarantee, the Evo has technical support for life for your complete peace of mind. The Evo’s versatile features and straightforward touch-screen set-up mean that it can be installed with ease. Like all Kensa products, the Evo uses a non-flammable refrigerant.
The Kensa Q
The Kensa Q
The series is comprised of modular three-phase models that deliver tailored outputs, flexibility and compatibility in large or commercial buildings. The Kensa Q is the perfect candidate for a cascaded system. Efficiently fulfilling fluctuating demands, multiple untis can work together to deliver large space heating and hot water demands at the same time. With multiple heat pumps, heating and hot water can be provided to different parts of a building simultaneously through a Building Management System (BMS). Designed for ease, the Kensa Q is compatible with a building’s heating distribution system, such as fan coils, underfloor and air handling units.
