Becky Sweeney, leads the Home Decarbonisation activities at the Energy Systems Catapult.

Becky has expertise in delivering multi-million pound innovation programmes, creating commercial propositions and developing products in a range of areas including low carbon technologies, consumer focused energy innovation and pharmaceutical development.

Becky also directs the development of the Catapult’s Living Lab and Whole Energy Systems Accelerator, an agile and scalable real-world trial and demonstration environment for home energy innovation. The Living Lab currently includes 2,700 homes across the UK, has smart heating controls and enables the monitoring of a range of in-home low carbon technologies. Our experts use this to help innovators rapidly design, market-test and launch smart energy products and services that have consumer appeal.
